Queen of Heaven

The Queen of Heaven

The Queen of Heaven (Jer 44:17) is a universal principality, meaning that this type of fallen angel, which has the classification of principality, has influence over ALL peoples and multitudes and nations and languages on the earth (Rev 17:15). In actuality this principality is an archetype of a class of a multitude of fallen angels. The Greek word for principality a.k.a. ruler is "ἀρχή" and in English "Archē" where we get the word archetype from.

Definition of Archē
Properly, from the beginning (temporal sense), i.e. "the initial (starting) point"; (figuratively) what comes first and therefore is chief (foremost), i.e. has the priority because ahead of the rest ("preeminent"). Short definition: ruler, beginning. [1]

In the Holy Scriptures the Queen of Heaven is also referred to by the names Jezebel (Rev 2:20, 1 Kings 18:19), The Great Prostitute (Rev 17:1, 19:2), Mistress of Kingdoms (Isa 47:5) and Wickedness (Isa 47:10, Zech 5:7-9).

At the highest level every nation or language has a top most principality like the prince of Greece or the prince of Persia (Dan 10:20, Deut 32:8). Ancient Near East nations and cultures had/have top level gods and goddesses. Since there are no female angels the Queen of Heaven archetype principalities (Eph 6:12) masquerade as female gods. Of the many thousands of fallen angels some were assigned the Queen of Heaven classification by Satan, the devil, the leader of the kingdom of darkness.
